Membership in the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company is open to all in the area. As with all volunteer organizations, we have minimum requirements to maintain membership. Business meetings, scheduled training, and work nights are scheduled on Tuesday evenings. Once you have been voted "On Probation", you will be responsible for attending these scheduled events.

The probationary period is six months, however if you are considering joining the Brigade as a Fire Fighter, based on previous experience and an oral review by the Line Officers, the probationary period can be reduced to three months.

Should you decide to join the Company and not the Brigade, there are a variety of on-going projects to which you can attach yourself, such as an extensive Fire Safety and Education Program, directed at teaching children fire safety.

We intersperse our obligations with social events such as a Familiy Picnic, an Annual Dinner, and Community Day, when we sponsor and participate in events at the Community Park, including a Battle of the Barrel.

You will find that the members of the CTVFC take an immense pride in their volunteer service and firmly believe that we make a difference.
