This morning the CTVFC, Adams Area, Marshal Township, CTEMS, and CTPD responded to a crash with entrapment at 228 & 19. The driver was entrapped in the driver side of the vehicle and a side removal had to be completed to remove them. The occupant was out of the vehicle 17 minutes after dispatch.

Crashes in this intersection are complex- this is one of the busiest intersections in PA. It is 20 lanes and pushes 80,000 cars per day through it. The police quickly established detours and closures and the traffic management team worked the situation from the townships traffic operations center to make for a smooth operation.
