The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company regrets sharing the news of the passing of past Chief Bill Spiegel. During his tenure with the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, Chief Spiegel held every line officer position, culminating in his service as Chief from 2007 to 2010.

Before joining the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, he served as Chief of the Callery Volunteer Fire Company.

Chief Spiegel served both Cranberry Township and the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company with passionate dedication.

His legacy to the fire service has been passed on to his children, with son Billy as Chief 29-2 with Bruin Volunteer Fire Department, daughter Nikki serving with Adams Area Fire District, and sons Josh and Nick with service at Callery.
