On 2/12 at approximately 8:30pm, the CTVFC was alerted for a kitchen fire in the township. E21-2 responded with three firefighters immediately after dispatch and received reports of a fight in the front yard as well as entrapment in the delta exposure of the town home. Police secured the scene and confirmed a working fire and began accounting for occupants. E21-2 arrived and went into rescue mode to remove the occupant from the exposure while E21 assumed the 1st due engine responsibilities on arrival. C21-2 assumed the command with C41 as his aid and C22-2 as operations. T42 & T228 laddered the building and ventilated while E185 checked for extension and E19 functioned as the FAST/RIT. Crews worked for about an hour and a half performing overhaul and checking for extension- no injuries were reported. Fire appeared to have started in the kitchen with a cooking appliance. The Red Cross was notified to provide assistance to the occupants.
